Alberto Fusco is a London-based Italian artist, internationally sold and exhibited. Born in Naples, (Italy) his passion for figurative art, in particular sculpture, led him to move to London in 1994 to further his art studies and career, earning a BA in Art for the Community, specializing in the art of mosaics.
At present, Fusco uses recycled magazines that would otherwise be thrown away to give life to artworks. This is central to his practice. Working from his south London studio as a full-time, professional artist, Fusco’s artworks are made up by folded and manipulated paper and transformed into textural geometrical forms, which ultimately develop into sculptural pieces in their own right.
